While 47 Tuc was observed with the refractor the SMC was exposed with the Canon. Here too the strong O3-bluegreen of the HII-regions is prominent.
The globular cluster 47 Tuc swims directly adjacent to the cloud.
The SMC was not really high above the horizon and dived down to almost its lowest position until the end of the sequence. Not only in this night a strong airglow was observable. While climbing down the greenish glow became more prominent and in the end the airglow looked wave-like or layered.
