Date/Site: 25. March 2020. Remote observatory on the AAR club's site in Presberg
Exposure/
Filters:
R: 20 x 180 seconds,
G: 18 x 180 seconds,
B: 16 x 180 seconds,
L: 30 x 180 seconds (-20°C)
Camera: QSI 632 with Astronomik Type II-filters
Optics/
Instrument:
250mm f/4 Newton with Baader RCC1 on 10Micron GM1000 HPS
Guiding: Lodestar attached to a 61mm-finder,
focusing: Microtouch and FocusMax,
data acquired remotely using CCD-Commander and MaximDL 6,
calibration and processing: PixInsight 1.8

Ever since I shot this galaxy in 2009 with the 13-inch this image waited for it's completion. As the 13-inch is no longer used for photography the 10-inch Newton had to fulfil this task.

Camera: SBIG ST10XME

13"-Newton on the Gemini 41 observatory mount, Baader coma-corrector
focusing with RoboFocus and MaximDL
Darks, alignment and stacking: MaximDL.
levels, curves and artificial flatfield: Photoshop CS

Remarks: 5.5 mag-sky, no wind, +14°C, after the moon set until the break of dawn.
The supernova outshines the galaxy's core.
The week before I had the pleasure to observe NGC 4088 plus supernova with a wonderful 20" Dobson during the annual ITV.
