M27, the Dumbell-nebula, was imaged by me with an assortment of instruments over the past years.
The RGB-data of this series was mixed with an artificial colour-image created from starless Hα- and O3-frames, to enhance the outer wisps of ionized gas.
In June 2022 I captured a some 10-minute Hα and O3-Frames and added them to the original stacks, in order to enhance the outer shells of the earlier phases of this planetary nebula.
With this camera/optics combination the image already looks like a widefield shot.

The Dumbbell nebula was the only possible target this night simply because it was in the sole region of the sky that was permanently clear.
As a comparison a shot with the Newton made one year before.

Focusing with Robofocus

Here for the first time integration time was invested only in the colour frames. It is interesting to see that even with short exposures hints of the outer Hα shell are visible.
And here the first image with the 300Da and the 6"-Newton.
