During the first nights my QSI 632 with the 200mm-Canon-lens rode piggyback on the refractor. But this proved to be too complicated (second laptop, framing and focusing were tedious). And when almost all frames came out either unsharp or elongated, I attached the 200mm lens to the Canon 6D and mounted this combination piggyback instead. Framing with the Manfrotto gearhead and focusing with the Live View were a breeze, the timer was set to 180 seconds and the exposures clicked off one after the other. The frames, which were trailed during the slews to the focusing-stars or by the dithering, were sorted out afterwards, so 55 frames out of 74 remained.
Because the camera is not astro-modded the Hα-signal so prominent in CCD-pictures is missing almost entirely here. In the HII-regions, otherwise so prominently pink, the blue-green tint of the strong O3-signal dominates.
