The DSLR is not astro-modified but nevertheless not entirely blind in the red part of the spectrum.
This part of the milkyway is one of the most dramatic areas in the sky.

Three sessions with the 200mm-lens during the exposures for Eta Carinae, NGC 3576 and NGC 3586 were combined with Microsoft ICE.
