This nebula is part of the Vela-supernova-complex. The dark nebulae in the Vela-Carina-area, some of them sneaked into this frame, would be material enough for a complete astroimaging holiday on the hacienda. Viewing this area with Daniel's 12.5" Portaball Dobson was a treat.
