Henize 206 is a star-forming region in the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC), a nearby and irregularly-shaped galaxy seen in the Southern Hemisphere. A shockwave from a supernova explosion impacted a cloud of nearby dust and hydrogen gas, compressed it, and started a new generation of star formation.
As the STL11000 has no O3-filter, Pedro Borja was so kind to provide a series of O3-frames taken with the Riccardi-Honders.
